Schleswig-Holstein’s Landestheater (National Theatre) 
Das Schleswig-Holsteinische Landestheater caters to audiences on several venues. While at the central Stadttheater and its smaller outlet, Kleine Bühne, current shows are being performed just behind the shopping mile, the Museumsberg (Museum Mountain) is home to the city’s chamber concerts. The bigger symphony concerts are displayed in the Deutsche Haus.

Niederdeutsche Bühne (Low German Stage)
A theatre renowned for its North German traditions and heritage: Playing-schedules of the Niederdeutsche Bühne, founded in 1920, consist mostly of Platt-German classics, but also of locally managed joyful comedies to make you laugh and wonder. The annual Christmas shows are a highlight for the whole family - beginning in mid-November.

Orpheus-Theater 
Holding just about 60 persons, the Orpheus-Theater is one of Germany’s smallest venues of its kind; but quality-wise it compares with the best. And certainly, the special ambience enhances everything that is said, done and played on stage. The Orpheus-Theater is a very intimate place for artists and audiences to connect.

Broschmann und Finke Theater Company
The community centre Bürgerhaus in Harrislee is the home base of Broschmann und Finke Theater Company. No wonder that this ensemble is a very popular one in the region around Flensburg. Entertaining evenings are guaranteed by performances of musicals, (children’s) theatre, and the BF Company’s own show designs.

Theatre Workshop Pilkentafel
The theatre workshop Pilkentafel has its home base in one of the numerous picturesque alleys of the Captains’ Quarter in Flensburg. Their stage is the home of often quite unusual art and dance, as well as modern, cultural and political performances. One of the missions of the Pilkentafel is to grapple with current socio-politically relevant issues.

Det lille teater
Trade mark of the comfy little Danish “Det lille teater” (The Little Theatre) is to support the use of Danish language throughout the German border region. The program’s main focus are classical and modern Danish theatre pieces - but you can enjoy cabarets and poetry slams as well.

Puppet Theatre Krimmelmokel
Old fairy tales, like the „Mother Holle“ or „Dornröschen“ (Sleeping Beauty) and other enthralling pieces are part of the repertoire of the Puppet Theatre Krimmelmokel, based in Deutsche Haus. The lovingly designed puppets in combination with exciting stories make children shout for joy.
