If you feel like exploring further, you may want to discover the bathing spots in the Danish territories, e.g. in Kollund, Sønderhav, Rønshoved, Alnor or Brunsnæs, vis a vis-à-vis Holnis – the choices are bounty, and they are yours. The ancient, but well kept trail „Gendarmstien“ (the constables’ path) is a certified quality hiking trail along the coast (get your maps at the tourist information in Flensburg or Glücksburg). On the way, don’t forget to imbibe a delicious Danish hot dog at the famous sausage-stall in Sønderhav.
