The beautifully situated little town Langballigau features a picturesque harbour, and a beach site family paradise. Lots of space for everybody. Children’s playground, roofed beach chairs, supervision of the beach and swimmers by German Life Savers (DLRG) – and lots of treats, snacks and delicacies in the harbour’s cafés, restaurants, fish-diners and ice cream stalls! Other than that you will find outdoor-fitness-equipment on the beach, as well as a beach volleyball court. Handicapped visitors are offered beach wheel-chairs, moveable on sandy surfaces, and reclining wheelchairs for bathing purposes. Evenings and sundowns can be sweetened with a German style Fischbrötchen (fish roll) and a local „Flens“ (beer). The official dog-beach at Langballigau can be found close to the camping site, at the beach promenade, leading to Westerholz. In the neighbouring village, just a few hundred yards away, an idyllic beach area awaits you with its little bathing jetty and a bistro. Children are most welcome to frolic on the spacious meadow.
