The public transport system also has buses with lowered entrances and a lot of raised bus stops. We have more helpful tips for you here – but we have to be honest with you: the cobblestones in some of Flensburg’s very pretty old town alleys are very challenging!
Free wheelchairs from Sanitätshaus Till Schiebler for your shopping trip to CITTI-PARK. When you show your ID and a pay a €50 deposit, you can get one of our wheelchairs for as long as you need for your shopping. Mon–Fri 8.30 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sat 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

The Euro WC key lets you get into toilets for disabled people in Germany and some European countries. Citizens with a severely disabled pass or a notice from the State Office for Social Services can receive a key for disabled toilets if they have the reference aG, G, H, Bl or the reference G with a degree of disability (GdB) of 70 upwards, or if no reference has been issued but there is a GdB of 90 upwards. The key costs €23. Under some conditions, some municipalities can pay these costs.
