Norderstraße, Toosbüystraße
Let‘s have a yummy birkes (Danish pastry) from Migge's Bakery to go, and let’s set out for Norderstraße (North Road)! Look for famous incognito cats (images created by an unknown artist), but also keep an eye "in the air". One of the many things, that make Norderstraße special, are those abound used shoes hanging from the old tramway racks above. This is a part of Flensborg that naturally oozes art and culture – but above all excels in culinary delicacies. MOMO's Naturbutik offers suitable vegetarian and vegan treats for a break. Since Norderstraße commands a great variety of foods, you can get original Italian pizza at Pizzateca da Tonis or various oriental delicacies at Green Kitchen. Afterwards, you can grab a nice ice cream at Isa Café or sip a hot coffee at Plan B Kaffeebar. If you're up early in the morning, you can enjoy your breakfast at Lykke Café & Bar on the sun terrace.
On the corner of Toosbüystraße, the "Soete Deern", a bakery and café, invites you to linger.
A little tip: for to-go dishes, the harbour is only a few steps away! You can purchase the appropriate bottle of wine for whatever your choice of food may be, at Weinkontor Roberto Garvin in Neustadt 16!

Nordermarkt
Feel the city’s pulse! Flensburg's Nordermarkt with its street cafés and restaurants conjures up a Mediterranean flair in the fjord-city during the summer months. Enjoy burgers at Peter Pane, or small snacks and cocktails at Kritz, or bespoke vegetarian and vegan specialities at Café Central across the street. Don't forget to make a detour to the plush and cosy Porticus, across from St. Mary's Church, where you can get a good Flens as well as Irish Guinness on tap! Rum lovers are invited to a sample at Rumhaus Johannsen in historic Marienstraße. If you like to spend the evening with Spanish tapas and tasty wine, the tapas bar La Tasca is the right place - bienvenida!

Große Straße, Holm and Südermarkt
Hearty cuisine with regional and international dishes is numerous and varied in Flensburg's pedestrian zone. San Marco in Große Straße is Flensburg's oldest Italian restaurant. In the Gnomenkeller Porter House on the Holm and in the Restaurant & Bar in the Hotel Alte Post, delicious steak specialities from the lava stone grill are on the menu. In one of the most beautiful backyards of the 17th century, the Holmhof, the Grisou, the Vertigo, and the restaurant „Alte Senfmühle“ await you in rustic ambience. The traditional Café K invites all snack and coffee lovers to linger. In the summer months, the outdoor seatings offer a nice place with a view of the Südermarkt and St. Nikolai Church. Great opportunities to experience old town flair after a shopping tour, and to end the day leisurely off the mile.

Nikolaistraße
Right next to the tourist information office, you'll find the Nikolai, where you can enjoy delicious tarte flambée, prepared with high-quality ingredients. Whether classic, with salmon or sweet, all tarte flambées are delicious.

Rote Straße
Let yourself be enchanted by Flensburg's most beautiful street, the jewel box of Flensburg's old town. Taste home-made tarte flambé in the Weinstube at Krusehof, have a delicious breakfast in the Café und Restaurant Roter Hof, or enjoy the soup in the Suppenlädchen at Blumenhof. If it smells like coffee and cake, you're headed for the right place, the Alten Kaffeerösterei. A favourite meeting place for friends of Spanish-Mexican cuisine is „Viva“, the first taparia in Flensburg, with tempting tapas, Mexican, and other varied vegetarian dishes. At the southern end of the old town alley, the Wein- & Rumhaus Braasch invites you for a sip of the "liquid gold". In the picturesque Braasch-Hof, people meet all year round for a glass of wine, or in winter for Braasch’s punch. In the Fischmanufaktur, fischbrötchen - fish buns - are freshly prepared, simply delicious!

Sonwik
Sonwik Enjoy your meal in the maritime atmosphere of the marina, and relax with the magnificent view of the Flensburg Fjord!
