The necessary restoration of the building by the Verein zur Erhaltung der Bergmühle (Society for the Preservation of the Bergmühle), founded in 1981, was made possible by numerous donations. Various types of grain are planted in the adjacent cottage garden. On certain days of the year it is processed into flour and grist by traditional methods.
