Kulturzentrum Volksbad
In the days, this was a bathing house for the city’s inhabitants, today the cultural centre Volksbad gives room to many cultural events and shows. The top of the German crop will perform here, like Fettes Brot, Lukas Graham and Royal Republic, who all have made for electrifying gigs at this unique location. Besides concerts, at the Volksbad audiences are treated to readings and movies as well.

Kulturwerkstatt Kühlhaus
The cultural workshop Kühlhaus is located at the central railway station in a former refrigerated fruit-store house, and it is known for its varied cultural and mostly musical program. Besides open-air events like the summer-movie-theatre, and the legendary techno and 80’s parties, audiences can expect to see also poetry slams, cabarets, solo-slam shows, and regular concerts.

Das Deutsche Haus
Das Deutsche Haus (the German House), built in 1920, does not only contain the 51-Stufen-Kino, but also the Great Hall, a venue for many big and glorious events and shows. The Deutsche Haus is not only home to the Flensburger Bach-Choir and Schleswig-Holstein's National Orchestra, it also the location for the annual Schleswig-Holstein-Musik-Festival. Nationally and internationally renowned artists perform on the big stage on a regularly basis.

GP JOULE Arena
GP JOULE Arena is also known by the name „Hölle Nord“(Northern Hell), due to the frenzy of the fans of the local handball team, who in the thousands will cheer and root for their club, SG Flensburg-Handewitt. Other than that, great comedy and show artists, like e.g. James Blunt, Ehrlich Brothers, and Foreigner, are known to make waves in the big venue.

Deutsches Haus
